Now Offering Online Continuing Education

With the recent demand for more online education offerings NABOR has partnered with The CE Shop in order to continue meeting your educational needs until such time as live classes can again be offered.  We will continue maintaining the online option as well for those who wish to take their classes in that format.  There are pre-licensing and post-licensing as well as exam prep courses available as well for those who are interested in starting their career in real estate!

Continuing Education
NABOR offers hours of free, live continuing education to all members with classes held across St.Tammany Parish, Tangipahoa Parish, Washington Parish and surrounding areas. The National Association of REALTORS and Louisiana REALTORS Association have collaborated with NABOR leadership in developing long-term strategic plans for continued success. ​See our Calendar for more information on upcoming classes!

What is the NAR Code of Ethics requirement?

Beginning in January 2019, NAR’s requirement changed. Realtors are required  to complete this ethics course once every 3 years. NAR offers two options for members to fulfill their Code of Ethics training requirement: 

  • FREE Course for Existing Members: Take this free course if you are an existing member to fulfill your training requirement. Currently this course offered thru NAR does not fulfull your CE hours requirement.
  • FREE Course for New Members: Take this free course if you are a new member to fulfill your training requirement. Currently this course offered thru NAR does not fulfull your CE hours requirement. 

Code of Ethics Training Cycles: Training must be completed at anytime during these established cycles. Failure to complete training during any cycle will lead to suspension of membership – read more.

CURRENT CYCLE – January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024

Future Cycles  
January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2027

NEW AGENTS who HAVE completed the new member Code of Ethics course during the last three (3) year cycle is not required to complete additional ethics training in respect of this requirement. If you HAVE NOT completed the Code of Ethics Course for the current cycle you must complete this course prior to the end date of the cycle. Save your attendance certificate because you will soon be asked to produce that hard copy to your broker. Please email a copy of your certificate to the Board Office at office@nabors.org so we may ensure that this course information is documented in your NRDS Record.
