We welcome agents to personally visit the NABOR Office, but for the new agent’s convenience, the application has been redesigned to be completed online.
Step 1: Complete Member Application Online

- Download the PDF Application: Click HERE
- If you completed the PDF Application – please email the application, copy of your Driver’s License and LA Real Estate or Appraiser License to OFFICE@NABORS.ORG.
Please allow 24 hours for processing. Once your application and supporting documents have been received, you will be contacted by a staff member of Northshore Area Board of REALTORS®.
Step 2: Register with NAR
If you are currently not registered with NAR, you must first create a user name and password to register. NABOR will contact you with your NRDS id number.
Step 3: Pay Dues
All NABOR dues are paid online for your convenience. Your invoice will be sent to you by email from Northshore Board of REALTORS® with the subject line of Billing/Finance. Please open the attachment to view your invoice. On your invoice you will see a payment link. Clicking on the link will take you to the payment portal and give you the ability to pay your invoice by electronic check or credit card. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL DUES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If you have any questions regarding your invoice, please call the office at 985-674-4233 before submitting your invoice payment. Once your payment is received/completed, a receipt will be sent to you via email.
Step 4: New Member Code of Ethics
All new agents or returning agents who have been away for more than one (1) year must complete New Member Code of Ethics Orientation.
- FREE Course for Existing Members: Take this free course if you are an existing member to fulfill your training requirement (No CE Hours Credit)
- FREE Course for New Members: Take this free course if you are a new member to fulfill your training requirements
Step 5: New Member Orientation
All new members are required to complete NABOR New Member Orientation within the first 90 days of membership. Your New Member Orientation date will be emailed to you in your Welcome to NABOR email. You will also be sent a reminder email prior to your class date
“New Agents will need to complete Mandatory New Member Orientation” class date.
MLS AND E-KEY FEES
All MLS and E-key memberships requires that a member payment profile be set up for quarterly auto-billing. The billing dates for each quarter are 30 days prior to the quarter starting. Please note that all MLS and E-key fees are non refundable. The quarterly billing dates are as follows:
1st Quarter – is billed on 12/1 of the previous year for services to be provided in January, February and March.
2nd Quarter – is billed on 3/1 for services to be provided in April, May and June.
3rd Quarter – is billed on 6/1 for services to be provided in July, August and September.
4th Quarter – is billed on 9/1 for services to be provided in October, November and December.
Submitting your MLS Application
After Steps 1-3 are complete – if you checked the box to join MLS on your application you will be advised via email with your user name and password and the link to log into the MLS.. If you are wanting to join as a MLS Only member Please click on the button below to complete the online application for Greater Southern MLS.. Remember, your broker must be a subscriber of Greater Southern MLS in order for an agent to become a participant. MLS membership questions can be directed to 985-674-4233.
